Updates of the 5th and the 20th

Managers Input

December is here and many people will be here on the Ranch For Christmas, The Christmas Party is Set for December 9th at 2 pm at the Hartsel Fire Station #5 on Ranch Road and Campfire.  There is a flyer posted on line (click here) as well as the bulletin Boards.  If you plan to attend please RSVP to the Office phone number 719-836-2079 or Email us at rorahoa@ghvalley.net.   Please remember to check the flyer out -it gives information on what the Ranch provides and what we would like you to bring.

Burn Pit is closed however we are still letting folks in there on a case by case basis with instruction on where to dump the slash.

The Reservoir has frozen over then opened up again and as long as there is open water then fishing is still allowed but please Remember that ICE Fishing is Never allowed.

I have been asked to post something about loose dogs!  Unfortunately we had someone that was out walking and was bitten by a dog that was not on a leash and not under voice commands.  This is Sad!  There was a police report filed and Animal control was dispatched.  Folks as I drive around the Ranch I often see dogs loose and running the roads.  Park Count has Laws about dogs running loose and if they are chasing wildlife that is something I have to report to Parks and Wildlife and if they are aggressive in nature they may be put down so do yourself a favor and control your pets.

Where is the Snow?  I have been asked this on several occasions and our normal heavy snows don’t normally arrive until late December thru April and May so Hang in there the snow is coming.

We are blessed to have property here at Ranch of the Rockies and just the other day I had some visitors that were out looking at properties stop in and they were amazed how we do things here and the low cost of HOA Dues. The Views are spectacular and everyone they met along their travels thru here were both courteous and helpful. Thank you!

Winter is here so Let us have a Safe and Happy Holiday season.
