It?s nice to see our neighbors returning for the summer. I enjoy seeing them sitting outside their homes and campers enjoying a campfire or getting ready for a ATV or horseback ride or heading out for a hike.
Some have already had their neighbors over for breakfast and a fire mitigation party, which is a good thing. As time permits please help your neighbors and the Volunteer Fire Dept. by inspecting your lot for dead timber that can fuel fast moving fires. If you need help ask or offer to feed ?em and they will come.
We have a fun equestrian event coming up on June 3rd and 4th. Even if you?re not into the horse thing stop by and enjoy watching the events. There will be a lot of activity at the Pavilion and Arena on June 3rd and 4th.
Remember this year the annual owners meeting and picnic is a two-day event August 11th and 12th. We need volunteers to help with all the activities we have planned. If you want to pitch in and help let John Adams, our Ranch Manager, know, by calling 719-836-2079 or contact the Events Committee Chair, Niki Griffin, at 316-312-5766 or griffin0998@gmail.com
Lastly, we have a very big item on this year?s agenda for the Annual Owners Meeting and that is the building of a Community Center. Please take the time to inform yourself about all the issues involved in improving our community and, when evaluating it, please consider its value to the community as a whole.
