New Faces

Well, we?ve gotten another inch, or so, in the last couple of weeks.? Conditions are much better, however, we are still fairly dry.? The rains we have received have really caused the area vegetation to green up nicely.? It is very nice to look out into the pastures and see something besides brown.? With that said, I would still urge you to be very careful with fire and check the ban status with the HFPD and the County before you do any outdoor burning.

Upcoming ? Saturday, August 11, 2012, is the annual meeting, board election and picnic. We are looking forward to a great turnout. This is a great opportunity to meet some of our public servants, as well as our neighbors and elect a couple new board members.? Bring a covered dish and enjoy the picnic after the meeting.

Please look at the Ranch Manager page for more information.

Waiting our turn

Waiting our turn.

Elections ? We are fortunate to have four candidates for the two positions that will be up for election this year.? Travis Bray, Dick Chambers, Bruce Hopmier and Brenda Whelan have all put their names in the hat.? Please take a look at your Summer Newsletter ?for more information about each of the candidates.? It is very pleasing to see that we have four folks with an interest in helping our community.

Website ? Things have been going well with the new site this month and I hope you are all enjoying the new and information being put forth (sorry if it is a little late, I?m in the process of moving).? If you have any problems or questions, please feel free to email me at tewells@hotmail.com and I will try to fix, or answer.

Dues ? By now everyone should have received their statement, as all were mailed early in January. In the event you have not gotten yours yet, I would suggest that you email the bookkeeper at rorahoa@ghvalley.net or send a snail-mail to the office at RORA, 492 Ranch Rd, Hartsel, CO 80449 and request a new invoice. If your mailing address or contact information has changed, please notify us, as that is the only means we have to get your billing to you timely. If you have not paid your dues yet, you will be assessed a late fee, as stated in the Policies and Procedures.
