Hi Everyone, another 20th has come around and I thought it was the 19th, my apologies. Before you know it, it will be time for the annual meeting and election of two directors will be necessary. I hope we can find some volunteers who are willing to put some time in to help administer our home owner’s association.
This job is very important, since our water augmentation plan, requires an association to keep records and file reports. We are what is considered a self-managed HOA, this means that we run the association with volunteer members. If something were to happen that we were unable to get volunteers, we might find ourselves in a position where we would have to hire a professional HOA management firm to manage the association. If this were to happen, our extremely low annual dues could be multiplied by tens, or more. Therefore, I would strongly request that anyone who would be willing to volunteer to serve a three year term on the board, please submit a short request to be a candidate, either via a written document mailed or dropped off at the office, or an email to the office at rorahoa@ghvalley.net by June 8th, 2018. The information you provide will be used to verify that you are a member in good standing, before we publish your info in the quarterly newsletter and put your name on the ballot.

The board meets on the second Saturday of each month, from 9am until approximately noon, at the Ranch Office with an occasional special meeting. In the 15 years that I have been on the board, I have found it a little demanding now and then, but generally interesting and very rewarding, to be able to help our community. Once again, please consider volunteering to run for the board.
