RANCH OF THE ROCKIES UPDATE

Updates on the 5th and 20th

Hello Everyone! First, let me start by thanking each of you here on the Ranch! Your kind words and best wishes mean so much.

Over the past few years I’ve really gotten to know a good majority of our residents, and look forward to meeting the rest of you in the near future. My office door will always be open, so please stop by with anything you need, or just to say hello.

Here we are at the annual meeting time again! Saturday, August 8, 2020, Ranch Pavillion. However, this year will be a bit different. Everyone must come with a mask, and be prepared to mask up when unable to socially distance. We will spread out the table seating under the pavilion, but you can certainly bring your own camp/patio chairs to cluster around with friends and family. As usual, registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. with the meeting called to order at 9:30 a.m. If you wish to address the membership and the board with an issue, you must sign up during registration for three (3) minutes at the microphone.

After members speak to the assembly, we meet the candidates for our two board positions, conclude the voting, review the past year’s business, and welcome special guests to update and inform us of continuing interest and issues. Due to Covid 19 concerns, we are unable to serve a lunchtime picnic. However, we will provide an individually wrapped pastry along with coffee, drinks, and plenty of water. See Niki Griffin’s article below for more details.

Perhaps the most important event of the morning will be the opportunity to express our appreciation to John Adams for his almost ten (10) years of service to the Ranch. With John retiring, let’s all join together at the meeting and give him a hand for his many years of dedicated service.

For now, thanks John. You will be missed! We all wish you a happy retirement and many more years of enjoyable life here on the ranch!
