Another frosty morning, but not much snow.? We certainly could use some precipitation, as? we are running quite low on snow pack.? The? temperatures have been pretty normal, thirties during the days and teens at? night, but as you can see, very little snow, especially on the southwesterly
slopes.
Upcoming ? The bid
packages are out and hopefully we will get enough responses to select a? contractor in the week following the next board meeting.? We sincerely hope we will be able to? eliminate the problems with the water system at the Ranch house and office.?? For years we have struggled with muddy water? and during the last couple of years we have experienced freeze-ups.
Website ? During the
period since we launched the new site, we have registered nearly two hundred? users.? This compares with approximately? five hundred that we had amassed over a period of about eight years, including
folks who had come and gone during that near decade.? I am impressed with the participation and? look forward to your ideas and thoughts for improvements.? As with anything new, there are some things? that folks like and a few that they don?t like as well as what we had in the? old site, but we will work to try and keep improving.
Ranch Manager – ?Please be sure to look at the Ranch Manager? page to stay current on what new issues are popping up for him while he is busy? taking care of the Ranch.
Dues ? It is that time? of year again.? By now everyone should? have received their statement, as all were mailed early in January.? In the event you have not gotten yours yet, I? would suggest that you email the bookkeeper at rorahoa@ghvalley.net or send a? snail-mail to the office at RORA, 492 Ranch Rd, Hartsel, CO 80449 and request a??new invoice.? If your mailing address or? contact information has changed, please notify us, as that is the only means we? have to get your billing to you timely and if you have not paid your dues by? March 31, 2012, there will be a late fee assessed as stated in the Policies and? Procedures.
