A lot of talk these days in the community and the county about how dry it is, reminiscent of last summer. Park County is in a full fire ban. If you aren?t sure what that means, please check the County website and (click on Emergency Alerts, or click link below), as it explains what is approved and what is prohibited in your summer activities – http://www.parkco.us/DocumentCenter/View/1434. While you?re reviewing the burn ban info, be sure to sign up for the CodeRed Emergency Notification System if you haven?t already. On another note, the sky did look ominous today, so perhaps we?ll get a reprieve soon.
Our summer & weekend neighbors have arrived! Welcome back! I have a gauge as to tell when summer has officially arrived: Our neighbor who raises alpacas and llamas has brought the beautiful animals to their summer ranch. It makes me smile every time I drive by. Another sign of summer is all of the wonderful wildflowers and trees! What a rainbow of colors in the Ranch right now! Our bird feeders are very active and colorful as well, always a lovely sight.
Enjoy your summer!? Our Ranch has so much to offer each and every one of us. Stay safe and take care of your property by MITIGATING! Let?s keep our Ranch beautiful and intact! Hope to see you at the Ranch picnic in August!
Peace,
Treasurer, RORA BOD
