RANCH OF THE ROCKIES UPDATE

Updates on the 5th and 20th

HFPD Stat 5 at Ranch & Campfire

03/05/2012

Just got home from a visit to Laughlin, NV, so I wasn?t here to see it, but I understand it was quite ?breezy? here at the Ranch. I have been told that March is our snowiest and windiest month of the year. As I am sitting here typing, it is sunny, quite warm (60ish) and just a mild breeze. If you take a look at the firehouse picture, I took it about ten minutes ago and it will give you a good idea of the snow cover in the open areas around the Ranch. I don?t have a lot of new news this week, as I spent most of it out of town, but here are a few things.

Upcoming ? The board is waiting for next Saturday to see how many bids we receive for the new water system for the office and ranch house.

Website ? Hopefully, by now everyone has had a chance to at least look over the new site and have liked what you have seen. I like the new scrolling header picture. I think the new gallery is quite nice (did you see the bobcat pictures?) ?and easy to look at. Please feel free to send your comments, as we continue to work on it. It is not realistic to think we will please everyone, but we will do our best to please as many of you as possible.

Ranch Manager – Please be sure to look at the Ranch Manager page to stay current on what new issues are popping up for him while he is busy taking care of the Ranch.

Dues ? It is that time of year again. By now everyone should have received their statement, as all were mailed early in January. In the event you have not gotten yours yet, I would suggest that you email the bookkeeper at rorahoa@ghvalley.net or send a snail-mail to the office at RORA, 492 Ranch Rd, Hartsel, CO 80449 and request a new invoice. If your mailing address or contact information has changed, please notify us, as that is the only means we have to get your billing to you timely and if you have not paid your dues by March 31, 2012, there will be a late fee assessed as stated in the Policies and Procedures.
