Updates on the 5th and 20th

July 20, 2015

I hope everyone is enjoying our nice wet summer.? The wildflowers are more plentiful than I?ve seen them in years and the pastures are green, which has been pretty unusual in the last couple of decades.? WebBadgerMeantime, the burn pit has been very active, primarily due to the very heavy late snow we had in May, but things are beginning to normalize a bit (but the RM still needs volunteers for Weds & Sats).

webMooseAs treasurer, in reviewing the 06/30/2015 Financial Statement, the Association is in good fiscal condition. Our dues collections are more than 85%, which is very good for mid-year and our reserves are in good shape.? I does appear that we will need to purchase a new truck this fall, as the current truck is fully depreciated and the reserve to replace it is fully funded.

I am pleased to say that we are now distributing a much larger proportion of our quarterly newsletters via the website, saving us money, both for printing and for postage.? If you are not already reading your copy on the site, please send Carole (our great bookkeeper) an email at rorahoa@ghvalley.net?and let her know that you would like to have her add you to the list.
